In every Hometown Run city, schools are invited to compete in a community-wide School Spirit Challenge.

Schools can form teams made up of:

Students
Teachers
Staff
Parents
Alumni
Coaches
Clubs
Athletic teams
PTA members
Community supporters

Challenge categories may include:

Largest school team
Most teacher/staff participation
Most student participation
Fastest school team
Best school spirit
Top alumni team
Principal’s Challenge winner

This gives every school a reason to rally, every student a reason to participate, and every family a reason to show up.
